My First Live TV Segment on WJLA's Let's Talk Live
Hi Guys- I wanted to share with you a clip of a TV segment from a few weeks ago (I mentioned it on instagram) where I chatted about fall trends on DC's ABC affiliate, WJLA during the morning show, Let's Talk Live with Jenny Doren.
I had so much fun talking about something I love, fall styling! I

It
was my first live TV segment and I was beyond nervous. I found out
about the segment less than 24 hours before, so I spent all night
talking to myself on my macbook and googling things like, 'things not to
do on live TV,' and 'media training 101.' I called one of my really
close girlfriends before, Kate, and blabbered about how I was worried
about blowing the segment and ending up on youtube somewhere as that
girl who... (insert embarrassing moment). I am super shy and
introverted, so something like this takes a lot of mental preparation
for me. Generally, I think the hardest thing about blogging and taking
opportunities like these is putting yourself out there. Similarly, it's
what I enjoy about it the most because I find myself trying things
slightly outside of my comfort zone (in this example, way outside), and
learning from them.
